Preparation

  • Select ripe avocados that are slightly soft but firm.
  • Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  • Mash the avocados gently with a fork or potato masher, leaving some chunks for texture.
  • Add fresh lime juice and salt to the mashed avocados, and mix until well combined.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed, adding more lime juice or salt as desired.

Notes

To prevent browning, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap pressed against the surface. Guacamole can be stored in the fridge for 1-2 days.
