  • 1 egg egg Whole egg; can substitute with egg whites for a lighter version.
  • 1 slice slice of cheese Experiment with cheeses like cheddar, mozzarella, or gouda.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Optional Toppings

  • avocado, spinach, etc. Feel free to customize with your favorite toppings.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the slice of bread in the air fryer basket.
  • Crack the egg on top of the bread.
  • Add the slice of cheese on top of the egg.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Cooking

  • Cook in the air fryer for about 5-6 minutes, or until the egg is cooked to your liking.

Serving

  • Optionally, top with avocado, spinach, or other favorite toppings before serving. Enjoy your breakfast!

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. To reheat, place the toast back in the air fryer for a few minutes until warm. For more flavor, consider adding herbs or spices.
