  • 4 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless chicken breasts are preferred.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Melted butter can be used as a substitute.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Fresh minced garlic can be used instead.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to taste Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish) Consider parsley, thyme, or basil.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Slice the chicken and serve garnished with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating the chicken in the olive oil mixture for a few hours before baking. Make sure to check the internal temperature to avoid overcooking.
