  • Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels.
  • Trim any excess fat from the chicken thighs.
  • In a large bowl, combine the chicken thighs with olive oil, ensuring they are coated evenly.
  • Mix garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl.
  • Rub the spice blend over the chicken thighs thoroughly.
  • Arrange the seasoned chicken thighs on the lined baking sheet with space between each piece.

Cooking

  • Bake the chicken thighs in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes.
  • Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  • For a crispy finish, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, marinate the chicken thighs a few hours before cooking. Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
