Dip Ingredients

  • 1 6.5 oz Alouette Cheese with herbs (or other soft cheese spread like Boursin) Use your preferred herb cheese spread.
  • ½ cup tomatoes, chopped Use ripe tomatoes for the best flavor.
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, chopped Fresh basil is key for aroma and taste.
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinaigrette glaze or reduction A little goes a long way; adjust to taste.

Serving Options

  • Pita chips, crackers, or thinly sliced baguette These will be served as dippers.

Preparation

  • Spread the soft cheese evenly over the center of a large plate or small platter, leaving a 1/4 inch border around the edge.
  • Sprinkle and spread the chopped tomatoes evenly over the cheese.
  • Add the fresh basil on top of the tomatoes.
  • Drizzle the balsamic glaze back and forth over the whole plate.
  • Serve immediately with pita chips, crackers, or baguette slices.

Notes

Bruschetta Dip is best served immediately. Garnish with extra basil leaves or a drizzle of balsamic glaze for presentation. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
