Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked rice (long-grain or short-grain)
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated Freshly grated for best results
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper Optional for heat

Instructions

Preparing the Rice

  • Once cooked, let the rice rest for 5 minutes before fluffing with a fork.

Combining Ingredients

  • Add butter to the hot rice and stir until melted.
  • Stir in the sharp cheddar and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  • Add sour cream and cayenne pepper. Mix until well combined.

Notes

Feel free to add optional mix-ins like cooked broccoli, crumbled bacon, or diced jalapeños for additional flavor.
