Main Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese Blend with egg yolks.
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar Used to stabilize egg whites.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder Optional seasoning.
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder Optional seasoning.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  • In a separate bowl, blend the cottage cheese with the egg yolks, salt, garlic powder, and onion powder (if using) until smooth.
  • In another bowl, beat the egg whites with cream of tartar until stiff peaks form.
  • Carefully fold the egg whites into the cottage cheese mixture until well combined.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in round shapes.

Cooking

  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cloud bread is golden brown and firm.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

You can serve Cottage Cheese Cloud Bread as a base for sandwiches, with spreads, or as a side with soup. To store, keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for longer storage. Make sure no yolk gets in the egg whites for best results.
