Ingredients
  

For the Fries

  • 2 pieces potatoes Russet potatoes are recommended for best results.
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese Freshly grated Parmesan works best.
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • Pinch salt
  • Avocado oil Avocado oil For coating the fries.

Preparation

  • Cut the potatoes into fry shapes and soak them in a bowl of water and ice for 30 minutes.
  • Drain and dry the potatoes thoroughly.
  • In a bowl, mix together the Parmesan cheese, cornstarch, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, salt, and oregano.
  • Toss the dried potato fries in avocado oil and then coat them with the Parmesan mixture.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

Cooking

  • Place the fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden and crispy.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

These fries pair well with ketchup, ranch dressing, or any dip of your choice. For a complete meal, serve alongside grilled chicken or a fresh salad. Soaking the potatoes in ice water removes excess starch, making the fries crispier. Drying the potatoes well helps the Parmesan mixture stick, and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket for the best results.
