  • 250 grams Cocoa beans Finest quality cocoa beans, ethically sourced
  • 150 grams Premium sugar Select for optimal sweetness
  • 100 milliliters Fresh milk Local dairy preferred for creaminess
  • 100 milliliters Fresh cream Adds richness and smooth texture

Flavoring Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon Saffron Traditional Emirati flavor
  • 1 teaspoon Rose water For aromatic enhancement
  • 1 teaspoon Cardamom Adds warmth and depth

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  • Roast the cocoa beans for 15 minutes to enhance their flavor.
  • Grind the roasted cocoa beans into a fine powder.
  • In a bowl, mix the cocoa powder, sugar, milk, and cream until well combined.

Flavoring

  • Add saffron, rose water, and cardamom to the chocolate mix.
  • Stir until the flavors are evenly distributed.

Molding & Cooling

  • Pour the chocolate mixture into molds.
  • Let them cool for at least 1 hour at room temperature or refrigerate until set.
