Ingredients
  

Burger Patties

  • 1 pound minced turkey (93% lean) Use lean turkey for a healthier option.
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ cup chopped fresh parsley

Cooking

  • 4 tablespoons olive oil (for cooking) Use more if needed for cooking.

Preparation

  • In a medium bowl, mix together the ground turkey, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and chopped parsley. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined into a consistent mixture.
  • With moist hands, shape the turkey mixture into four patties, each about ½ inch thick.

Cooking

  • Heat the olive oil over medium heat in a large skillet until hot but not smoking.
  • Add the prepared patties to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side, until golden brown on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
  • Once the patties are fully cooked, remove them from the skillet and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve on a toasted bun with toppings like sliced tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, pickles, or avocado. Pair with sweet potato fries or salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days.
