Seasoning

Egg Wash

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness for uniform cooking.
  • Marinate the chicken cutlets in a mixture of herbs, garlic, and lemon juice for 15-30 minutes.

Breading

  • Set up a dredging station with three shallow dishes: one with seasoned flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan.
  • Coat each chicken cutlet first in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Baking

  • Place the breaded cutlets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the cutlets.
  • Bake for 15 minutes, then flip the cutlets and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • If desired, broil for 1-2 minutes to achieve extra crispiness.
