Ingredients
  

For the Milk Base

  • 1 cup milk of choice can be dairy milk or non-dairy milk alternative
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin puree or canned pumpkin
  • 1 tbsp clear honey or maple syrup
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

For Serving

  • 1 dollop whipped cream for topping
  • a pinch pumpkin pie spice for garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation for Cold Version

  • In a blender, combine the milk, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Blend on high until all ingredients are well mixed and smooth.
  • Pour the pumpkin milk into a glass and enjoy it chilled.

Preparation for Warm Version

  • In a small saucepan, add the milk, pumpkin puree, honey, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Place over medium-high heat and gently heat until warm and steaming, stirring occasionally.
  • Use a whisk to combine everything well until smooth and frothy.
  • Pour the warm pumpkin milk into a mug. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Can be frozen in an ice cube tray for later use.
