  • 4 pieces chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice Use fresh for the best flavor.
  • 1 whole lemon, sliced
  • to taste Salt and pepper

Garnish

  • to taste Fresh parsley For garnish.

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then coat with parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  • In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  • Sear the chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • In the same skillet, add butter and garlic, cooking until fragrant.
  • Add the lemon juice and lemon slices, then return the chicken to the skillet.
  • Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

Serving

  • Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve warm with steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Reheat in the oven or microwave until heated through.
