  • Reduce heat and simmer: Lower the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until all water is absorbed and the rice is tender.
  • Fluff and serve: After removing from heat, let it sit, covered, for 5-10 minutes. Fluff the rice with a fork before serving.
