  • 1 lb (450g) Fresh salmon Choose wild-caught or farmed salmon
  • 1 tsp Sea salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Dried dill

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 1/4 cup Grated Parmesan cheese For added flavor
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed red pepper flakes For a spicy touch

Preparation

  • Rinse the fresh salmon under cool water and dry with paper towels.
  • Remove any pinbones from the salmon fillets.
  • Chill the salmon in the freezer for 15-20 minutes for easier cutting.
  • Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes using a sharp knife.

Cooking

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Season the salmon bites with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and dried dill.
  • Place the bites on the baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 12-15 minutes, until opaque and flaky.

Notes

Serve with various dipping sauces like lemon-dill aioli or sweet chili sauce. These bites can be made ahead and reheated for convenience.
