  • 1 tablespoon Rice vinegar To add tanginess

Fresh Aromatics

  • 1/4 onion Sweet onion Thinly sliced
  • 3 pieces Scallions Chopped

Toppings

  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds For garnish
  • 1/2 piece Avocado Cubed
  • 1 cup Edamame Shelled

Preparation

  • Cube the sushi-grade salmon into 1/2-inch pieces.
  • In a bowl, prepare the marinade by mixing the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar.
  • Marinate the salmon in the mixture for 30 to 60 minutes.

Assembling the Bowl

  • Start with a base of warm rice in a bowl.
  • Place the marinated salmon in the center of the rice.
  • Top with sweet onion, scallions, avocado, and edamame.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, always use high-quality, sushi-grade salmon and marinate for at least 5 minutes. Store ingredients separately if preparing ahead.
