Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter For the sauce
  • 2 tsp honey
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley For garnish

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a small mixing bowl, combine the butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Cooking

  • Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through (internal temperature should be 165°F). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add chicken broth to deglaze the pan. Stir in the butter mixture and cook until smooth.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and coat it with the sauce. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Garnish with parsley and serve.

Notes

Let the chicken rest for a few minutes after cooking for juicier meat. Adjust seasoning to your liking; add more honey for sweetness or spices for heat. Check the internal temperature of chicken with a meat thermometer.
